'Poking Your Brain' Xmas Lectures for Children

 Starting Tuesday, 6 December 2011.

Science Learning Centre North East is pleased to announce its 2011 Christmas Lecture series for children. The lectures are suitable for Year 6/7 pupils.

This year we have all-round science entertainer and Blue Peter Science expert, Steve Mould!

Think you understand the laws of physics? Steve Mould wants to give your brain a workout with some science demonstrations that are not always what you might expect! Come along on a mind-warping tour of some of Steve's favourite tricks of physics, mental mind games and some amazing illusions!
